An exclusive collaboration between La Botte Secrète and artist Jung Shen. I have created and developed three ranges of chocolates by recreating my art in ink wash, herbarium, and calligraphy, based on the themes of nature and the Seine in various formats.
We work on the paintings on chocolate plaques using cocoa butter to create a white background. Then, depending on the desired effects, edible gouache colorants or a mixture of colorants and cocoa butter are used to finalize the handmade painting.
For the smaller formats, I created three stencils inspired by my ink wash ikebana art. Once the flower and leaf shapes are colored on the medal, I hand-draw the stems one by one, just like in the same ritual when I create my artworks or an ikebana.
Together with Jolane, the owner of La Botte Secrète, we offer a large chocolate painting depicting the donjon of La Roche-Guyon. This piece uses a mold she created, and I continue to work on the painting with touches and a style close to the ink wash technique, with an exclusive signature on this range.
Finally, we offer a gift box containing an assortment of gourmet chocolates and a dark chocolate plaque from this collaboration. The kraft box is hand-painted by me, stamped, and signed as an original artwork.
