European Heritage Days Weekend 2024, I had the privilege of exhibiting alongside other artists at Saint-Samson Church in La Roche-Guyon. It was a truly magnificent and profound experience.
Organized by the association Vivre La Roche-Guyon. We were five artists and one workshop presenting our unique worlds: Aline Deguen, illustrator Alexej Ravski, artist Claire-Lise, ceramicist and artist Jung Shen, painter and calligrapher Loren Batt, artist and illustrator Le Mont-Presse, screen-printing workshop.
During the exhibition, I unveiled my latest oil painting, Dawn by the Water. Naturally, several essential pieces, inspired by the Seine, La Roche-Guyon, and nature, were also on display.
The divine atmosphere of the church, with its ever-changing light, added a truly timeless quality to our works. This blend of artistic styles created a fascinating harmony: from realism to fantasy, from poetry to contemplation, from traditional to contemporary craftsmanship.
Around 300 visitors in just 12 hours of opening! The exchanges with visitors, the artistic conversations, the unexpected discoveries, and the warm atmosphere... It was pure joy!
Coming soon, I will participate in exhibitions and projects in Fourges, Genainville, and Rouen, and next year, in Paris.
Stay tuned follow me on Instagram or via my journal for more informations and upcoming exhibition and events!
Thank you all for your support.
Bisous,
Jung
