This participatory artwork, titled The Endless River (La Seine sans fin), was initiated and created by artist Jung SHEN. 

During the painting process, spectators are invited to join the artist in co-creating the artwork. Through moments of riverside contemplation, they collaboratively explore the possibilities of river landscapes and the art of ink painting. 

The concept draws inspiration from traditional Chinese ink wash to depict scenes, merging Eastern and Western expressions to draw the diverse chapters.

This work-in-progress began in May 2025 in Vétheuil, France, and has since traveled and performed to various locations. It is currently being presented in this solo show in Taipei, Taiwan, with plans to continue to other cities and witness with visitors and co-create with others.
