Ink wash Ikebana

A series based on my ink wash-herbarium artworks. "Ikebana" is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, meaning "the art of making flowers live." In this garden, flowers and ink wash create an aesthetic harmony among their movements and a balanced relationship between the natural materials used in the arrangement and the surrounding space, which emphasizes simplicity, understated elegance, and a respect for nature.
